Why you have to learn about conjugation of verbs in Russian?
It helps you use the correct present tense forms and conjugate verbs properly.
How can you determine the conjugation of a verb?
Step 1
Find the infinitive (что делать? что сделать?)
Example:
он говорит (he says)→ говорить (to say)
она читает (she reads)→ читать (to read)
Step 2
If the infinitive ends in -ить, it is usually the second conjugation.
Examples:
говорить → он говорит
просить → он просит
заметить → он заметит
Step 3
If the infinitive does not end in -ить, it is usually the first conjugation.
Example:
читать → он читает
выглянуть → он выглянет
исчезнуть → он исчезнет

Second conjugation endings (-ить):
-ишь
-ит
-им
-ите
-ят / -ат
Example:
говорить → говорит, говорим, говорят
First conjugation endings:
-ешь
